Die cut base box

CUT AN 8 x 8 INCH PIECE OF CARD
ATTACH THE CORNER DIE TO THE CORNER OF THE CARD. I RECOMMEND HOLDING THE DIE IN PLACE WITH A PIECE OF LOW TACK TAPE TO STOP IT FROM MOVING WHILE BEING PUT THROOUGH THE MACHINE.
CUT AND EMBOSS ALL 4 CORNERS
THE SQUARE MADE IN THE CENTRE OF THIS BASEIS NOW 5 ½ BY 5 ½. YOU NOW NEED TO MAKE THE SIDES OF THE MAIN BOX. THE DIMENTIONS WILL BE 5 ½ BY HOW EVER TALL YOU WANT BUT FOR THIS BOX IT WILL BE 5 ½ BY 6. I HAVE CUT A 12 BY 12 INCH PIECE OF PAPER IN TO 2, 11 ½ BY 6 INCH PIECES.
ON MY HOUGIE I HAVE SCORED A LINE AT 5 ½ AND AT 11 INCHES. THIS WILL LEAVE YOU WITH A ½ INCH ON THE RIGHT HAND SIDE, DO NOT CUT THESE OFF.
STICK RED LINER TAPE TO THE ½ INCH TABS
STICK THE 2 PIECES TOGETHER TO FORM A BOX
USING WET GLUE,STICK THE DIE CUT BASE TO THE MAIN BOX.
YOU SHOULD NOW HAVE A FINISHED BOX.
YOU CAN MAKE UP A LID TO PUT ONTO THE BOX. FOR THAT ALL YOU NEED TO DO IS WORK OUT HOW DEEP YOU WANT THE LID AND ADD IT TO THE 5 ½ INCH SQUARE. CUT OUT WEDGES IN THE CORNERS AND GLUE TOGETHER
The finished box with lid
